PUSH BUTTON SWITCH FOR EMERGENCY STOP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push-button switch for emergency stop capable of easily and surely locking a socket part to the main body part. SOLUTION: The socket part 70 includes a socket case 75 having a cylindrical part 75a which is externally fitted to a small diameter cylindrical part 13 of a body case 11 and in which four pieces of ball support holes 75c are installed, four pieces of steel balls 77 which are respectively supported in the respective ball support holes 75c and which have larger diameters than the thickness of the cylindrical part 75c, a socket ring 78 having a small diameter part 78c which is slidably and externally fitted to the cylindrical part 75a of the socket case 75 and a large diameter part 78b of a large inner diameter, and a socket lock spring 79 which is interposed between the socket case 75 and the socket ring 78 and which energizes the small diameter part 78c upward the axial core direction so as to be opposed to the respective ball support holes 75c. In the body case 11, a locking hole 13b to lock the respective steel balls 77 when the cylindrical part 75a of the socket case is externally fitted is installed at the outer peripheral face of the small diameter part 13.
