INFORMATION RECORDING MEDIUM AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium such a hologram that can inexpensively and repeatedly record information in an easy process without using a developing solution or the like. SOLUTION: In the recording medium, information according to the state in a thickness direction of a convex-concave pattern of a thin film is recorded on a substrate by corona discharge on the substrate through a dielectric thin film having a convex-concave pattern on the surface. That is, the recording medium such as a hologram comprises a dielectric thin film having a grating comprising a convex-concave pattern on the surface and a substrate in which information in accordance with changes in the thickness of the concave-convex pattern of the dielectric thin film is recorded. Otherwise, information of a mask pattern is recorded in the substrate of the recording medium by corona discharge on the substrate through the mask pattern. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
