Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of easily evaluating an effect of a physiological active material including a process of analyzing gas of intestinal bacteria origin existing in the breath of an animal. SOLUTION: After administering matrix for evaluation or an evaluation object to the animal, breath of the animal is collected and captured without anesthesia and restraint and at a normal pressure. Gas (hydrogen, methane, or the like) originated in habitation of the intestinal bacteria of the gas contained in the collected breath is measured, thereby allowing evaluation of the physiological active material.
