SWITCH OPERATION MEMBER AND SWITCHING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch operation member of fine operability, high brightness, and with little brightness unevenness, though of a simple structure. SOLUTION: The switching device with illumination is provided with an operating button 10 comprising a button body 1 and a cap part 7. The button body 1 is provided with a display part 1c irradiating light, a light guide part 1g guiding light from a light-emitting element 2 arranged at an FPC 4 (a perpendicular substrate 4b) to the display part 1c, and a protruded part 1d for pressing a switch 3 arranged at an FPC 4 (a horizontal substrate 4a). The protruded part 1d is formed on nearly a center axis 'a' of the button body 1. The light guide part 1g is provided with a light-incident face 1a transmitting light from the light-emitting element 2, and a reflecting face 1b. The light-incident face 1a has such a curvature that condenses light from the light-emitting element 2 on the reflecting face 1b, and the reflecting face 1b has a such a curvature that condenses light from the incident face 1a on the display part 1c.
