CONTINUOUS FORM PAPER PRINTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable printer by adjusting the output of a sensor so that the sensor transporting paper sheets does not vary in output by disturbance such as foreign matter. SOLUTION: Output of the sensor is adjusted to conserve a read value of a skew sensor under a constant condition so that sensor characteristic is not changed by influence such as dirt adhering to the skew sensor. When the sensor characteristic is changed by the influence such dirt adhering to the skew sensor, a rate where the read value of the skew sensor is changed from an initial value is detected under the constant condition and a control target value is corrected at the rate where the sensor is changed.
