Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generator wherein a surplus electricity generated in the high rotation range of a rotor is reduced to lower the temperature of an armature coil and friction can be thereby reduced. SOLUTION: The generator includes the rotor 4 fixed at one end of the crankshaft 3 of an engine 2 and a stator 5 opposed to the rotor 4. The rotor 4 is provided with multiple magnets 10 and iron poles 11 alternately arranged in the circumferential direction. Further, the stator 5 is provided with multiple teeth 16 with an armature coil 18 wound thereon in correspondence with the magnets 10 of the rotor 4.
