Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve sound correction, for a person with or without difficulty in hearing, corresponding to personal hearing property and hearing corresponding to sound environments. SOLUTION: In the hearing adapting apparatus and processing method, a frequency characteristic setting line is provided which a listener himself can easily adjust for the purpose of adjusting an optimum hearing environment for a hearing aid, telephone or audio equipment listener from frequency characteristics, and the frequency of audio input is adjusted and converted into audio realizing the optimal hearing environment for the user by referring to the frequency setting line.
