INSERT TYPE PIPE JOINT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insert type pipe joint capable of connecting a corrugated tube in a correct fitted state in a short time by inserting the corrugate pipe into the pipe joint by a small force in spite of a simplified and inexpensive structure, and ensuring secure sealing performance. SOLUTION: In the insert type pipe joint for connecting a flexible tube formed of a corrugated tube, a connecting mechanism with the flexible tube and a sealing mechanism are incorporated in a joint body in an integrated manner, so that the corrugated tube of the flexible tube can be connected only by being inserted it directly into the joint body. The structure is simplified and reduced in weight, and the number of part items is also reduced. The corrugated tube is inserted, and the tip thereof is held by a ring. When the corrugated tube is pulled out in a pulling-out direction in this state, a retainer contacting with the receiving wall of a push ring through a moving seal material is deformed by rotating the inside diameter thereof in a contracting direction and engaged with a valley of the corrugated tube to regulate the further pull-out of the corrugated tube.
