Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste liquid treating method and a waste liquid treatment apparatus capable of treating seasoning waste liquid used for seasoning salted plums. SOLUTION: This waste liquid treating method comprises processes for: yeast plant-treating mixed liquid obtained by diluting the seasoning waste liquid used for seasoning salted plums to dilute the organic matter contained in the seasoning waste liquid to a given concentration, by yeast plant in an aerobic environment; and treating with activated sludge the yeast plant-treated liquid obtained in the yeast plant-treating process in the aerobic environment with activated sludge.
