PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine which has an agitating blade fixed to a washing shaft with a fixing screw, and prevents the agitating blade from being removed from the washing shaft due to loosing of the fixing screw even when the washing machine has a large capacity and is therefore highly reliable, and which can be made inexpensive by reducing the number of components and assembly man-hour. SOLUTION: A male thread part 16a is formed at the outer circumference of the end of the washing shaft 16, and a female thread part 14a is formed through the inner circumferential surface of a separate member 14. They are fastened with each other by fitting screws, and the fixing screw 15 is made to abut on the end 16c of the washing shaft 16 by its step part 15a. Thus, even when the capacity is large, the fixing screw 15 is not loosened and the agitating blade 13 is not removed from the washing shaft 16, the reliability is therefore improved.
