Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a multilayer metal foil clad laminate that prevents the occurrence of defective products in an etching line, prevents an outer-layer base material from being broken, and also prevents the surface of a part, where a circuit is not yet formed, from being flawed. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for a multilayer metal foil clad laminate includes a first step in which the outer-layer base material is formed by forming a circuit pattern on one face of a double-sided metal foil clad laminate, and also, by forming a non-circuit pattern and the part where a circuit is not yet formed, on the other face; a second step for sticking a protection sheet on the part of the outer-layer base material where a circuit is not yet formed; a third step for combining one face on which the circuit pattern of the outer-layer base material is formed, with one face on which a circuit pattern of an inner-layer base material is formed, while interposing a prepreg between them; and a fourth step for heat-pressure molding a product formed by combining the outer-layer base material, the inner-layer base material, and the prepreg with each other.
