REPLACEMENT WORK INSTALLATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish an efficient inventory cycle to the utmost, when an old meter whose certification has expired is replaced by a new meter, while the meter casings that are limited in number are used by turns. SOLUTION: This replacement work control installation is equipped with a certification expiration host system for controlling certification validity periods of respective meters to provide order placement schedule data, showing that replacement work is necessary for a meter whose certification validity period expires, and a certification expiration distributed system for supporting the progress of replacement work, according to the schedule data provided from the host system, while this management installation is equipped with a planning system for controlling the total stock of new and old meters held on the company side. The planning system controls the total stock of meters based on reservation data, based on the schedule of replacement work and report data on the completion of replacement work.
