Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of disinfecting/cleaning air by a wet system, and capable of comfortably keeping an indoor air environment without increasing a load on the air conditioner. SOLUTION: The air conditioner 100 includes a refrigerant circuit 100a connected sequentially with a compressor 11, a four-way valve 13, an outdoor heat exchanger 14 and an indoor heat exchanger 24; and also includes a casing 23 provided with an air suction port 21 and an air diffusing port 22; and built in with the indoor heat exchanger 24, an air fan 25 for blowing air into the casing 23 from the air suction port 21 toward the air diffusing port 22, and an air disinfecting means 5 arranged in an air flow route from the indoor heat exchanger 24 to the air diffusing port 22, and for bringing the air after heat-exchanged by the indoor heat exchanger 24 into contact with a liquid having a disinfection effect to disinfect the air.
