PLASTIC CAP OPENABLE WITH STRAW

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-piece cap consisting of a cap shell and a liner, in which a remarkable improvement in adhesion between liner and cap shell is achieved. SOLUTION: The plastic cap includes the cap shell formed of a top plate and a skirt extending downward from the top plate and having an opening in the center of the top plate, and the liner breakable by a straw and stuck and fixed to the circumferential edge of the opening defined by the internal face of the top plate of the cap shell so as to cover the opening. In such a plastic cap, an annular or a plurality of projections are formed on the internal face of top plate of the cap shell so as to come into close contact with the vertical end edge of the outer periphery of the liner and prevent the vertical end edge of the outer periphery of the liner from being radially deformed when the liner is subjected to pressing force from above.
