Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a beverage filled in a container, with which filling at room temperature without need of use of a chemical or sterilized water is possible to alleviate thermal degradation of a content substance to keep good taste and flavor, a heat resistant container need not be used, heat sterilization or cooling after sealing is not needed, and a facility cost and a running cost can be largely reduced. SOLUTION: After the content substance is heat-sterilized to a predetermined sterilization value in advance, it is rapidly cooled to the room temperature. The content substance is reserved in a reservoir tank which has been sterilized in advance under conditions similar to or higher than heat sterilization conditions for the content substance and is sent to a filling machine which has been sterilized under the conditions similar to or higher than heat sterilization conditions for the content substance while keeping the tank at a positive pressure by aseptic gas. Thus a liquid feed system from the reservoir tank to the filling machine is made into a closed liquid path free from invasion of the external air. In addition, the beverage is filled at the room temperature into a container sterilized with hot water in an externally isolated environment controlled space in which a peripheral environment is heat-sterilized with hot water at 65-100°C.
