Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure of different kinds of metals, and a method for joining dissimilar metals in which the joint strength is ensured, the manufacturing cost is low, and a facility is constituted in a space-saving manner. SOLUTION: A flange part 3 of an aluminum alloy-made roof panel 1 is joined with a joint member 4 formed of a similar metal to that of a side member 2 by the solid-phase bonding, and a portion (an exposed portion 6) exposed from a cutout part 5 of the joint member 4 is joined with the side member 2 by the bonding by a fusion welding method. Thus, the roof panel 1 is firmly bonded to the side member 2 via the joint member 4, and the bonding strength of the roof panel 1 and the side member 2 formed of dissimilar metals is ensured. Further, the joint member 4 and the side member 2 formed of similar metals to be easily welded can be bonded to each other by a conventional facility to ensure the productivity. Still further, the conventional facility can be used, an increase in the manufacturing cost and the facility cost can be suppressed, and an increase in size of the facility can be avoided.
