PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the accurate reception or discharge of coins by correctly counting the number of cast tokens. SOLUTION: The tokens pass through a token inlet 172 to be stacked in a box body 171. The pressure of the tokens stacked is detected with a pressure sensor 177 to determine the number of tokens. When the number of tokens exceeds three, an electromagnetic solenoid 184 is excited to force a token push-out plate 182 forward so that three tokens are discharged at a time from a token outlet 175 and then, the token push-out plate 182 is retracted backward. When the number of tokens detected is less than three, an electromagnetic solenoid 185 is excited to force a token push-out plate 183 forward so that the number of tokens exceeding no more than three is discharged from a token outlet 176 and then, the token push-out plate 183 is retracted backward.
