AUTOMATIC THREAD TENSION GUIDE OF SEWING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the automatic thread tension guide of a sewing machine, which is capable of largely changing the tension of a thread at a low cost without the need of a large space. SOLUTION: In the automatic thread tension guide of the sewing machine, which has a pair of tension discs 2 and 3 capable of being relatively close to or separated from each other to clamp or release the thread, a disc holder 4b which can abut on the back surface of one of both tension discs 2 and 3 and a driving means 10 for driving the disc holder 4b in the direction of being brought into pressurized contact with one tension disc 3 via a driving rod connected to the disc holder 4b, an auxiliary driving means 25 for driving the disc holder 4b in the same direction as the driving means 10 is disposed.
