Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an optical component suitable for mass production, the component certainly preventing the degradation of optical characteristics of an optical device at a low cost at assembly; an imaging apparatus equipped with the optical component; a designing method of the optical component; and a method of manufacturing the optical component. SOLUTION: The optical component includes optical elements 3, 5 and holders 2, 10 in which the optical elements 3, 5 are force-fitted and are held. The optical elements 3, 5 before being force-fitted in the holders 2, 10 are formed in such a shape that the optical elements 3, 5 have desired optical characteristics after being force-fitted in the holders 2, 10 in prospect of deformation of the optical elements 3, 5 by being force-fitted in the holders 2, 10.
