MOVEMENT RESTRICTION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of absorbing a seismic force and the like, and preventing the induction of a phenomenon such that a bridge and the like fall from a support structure such as a bridge pier for supporting a structure, when the vertical seismic force or an upward lift force is induced, particularly, to the structure such as the bridge. SOLUTION: This movement restriction device 23 comprises a first and a second members 24 and 25. The first member 24 is composed of an approximately rectangular box body, and a recess 24a is formed almost in the lower center of the first member 24. A plurality of bolt inserting screw holes 24c and 24c are drilled into the top surface 24b of the first member 24, and the first member 24 is fixed to a part of the bridge as the structure 26 by screwing a plurality of fixing bolts 26a and 26a into the screw holes 24c and 24c, respectively.
