GRIPPING DEVICE OF PLATE-LIKE MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gripping device of a plate-like material capable of gripping the plate-like materials of various sizes. SOLUTION: In the gripping device 30 of the plate-like material which grips a work 49 by mounting a grip mechanism 40 sucking and retaining the plate-like material on a movable mechanism 28 such as a robot arm, the gripping mechanism 40 includes a suction portion 66 which sucks the upper surface of the work 49, receiving portions 73L, 73L, 73R and 73R which receive the upper surface of the work 49 or the upper surface and the side surface of the work 49 according to the size of the work 49, a receiving portion moving mechanism 101 which permits the receiving portions 73L, 73L, 73R and 73R to move according to the size of the work 49, gripping claws 75L, 75L, 75R and 75R which are opened and closed at the side of the work 49 and support the side surface and the lower surface of the work 49, and a gripping claw moving mechanism 99 which permits the grip claws 75L, 75L, 75R and 75R to move according to the size of the work 49.
