CARRIAGE LIFTING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carriage lifting apparatus which can transfer a ladle transporting carriage together with a ladle to a different level in a conveying line for shifting the carriage. SOLUTION: The carriage lifting apparatus 30 is set in the conveying line 10 for shifting a self-traveling carriage 20 mounted with the ladle 18 in a first track 12 extended at a first level L1 and a second track 14 extended at a second level L2 higher than the first level L1. The carriage lifting apparatus 30 is provided with: a rack 32 where rails 33, 33 on which the carriage 20 can be shifted are laid; and a lifting means 34 for vertically shifting the rack 32 between a position where the rail 33, 33 match with the rails 16, 16 in the first track 12 and the carriage 20 can be put on or gotten down and a position where the rails 33, 33 match with the rails 16, 16 in the second track 14 and the carriage 20 can be put on or gotten down. The rack 32 is provided with a guide part 40 which keeps the horizontal posture of the rack 32 by abutting on a plurality of guide parts 38 stood at the side part. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
