SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FAILURE STATE CHECK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a failure state check system that allows one to know the failure state of consumers' electric equipment through wireless telecommunication, and to take measures depending on the failure state. SOLUTION: A failure state check system 1 is configured, such that a wireless telecommunication equipment 3 that can communicate with a watthour meter 2, a terminal 4, and a server 5 are connected to enable communication with each other via a wireless network 6. The watthour meter 2 is an instrument installed for each consumer, and conventionally, persons in charge of electric power company made the rounds, to inspect it at the time of gauge inspection. The wireless telecommunication equipment 3 transmits data in connection with the watthour meter 2, in response to requests from the server 5 or on regular basis, while acquiring voltage data and current data from the watthour meter 2. The terminal 4 is a terminal that is carried by a person in charge of electric power company, when he visits a consumer for taking countermeasure for failures, and refers to the route up to the consumer. The server 5 is installed at business office of electric power company or other places. When a notice of failure of electric power facility is reported from a consumer, the server receives data regarding the watthour meter 2 of the consumer from the wireless telecommunication equipment 3, and displays the cause of the failure depending on the data.
