Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable reflecting mirror that prevents a movable mirror arranged in a photographing optical path from being broken when the movable mirror is driven, and to provide a camera. SOLUTION: A movable reflecting mirror device includes a half mirror 401 onto which a semi-transmissive reflecting film is applied, a film-like vibration-damping film 402 provided on one face of the half mirror 401 and having vibration-damping properties, and a movable mirror frame 403 that holds a reflecting mirror provided with the vibration-damping film 402. The mirror frame 403 is advanceable/retreatable with respect to the photographing optical path. Vibration occurred at the time when the reflecting mirror enters into or retreats from the photographing optical path is absorbed by the vibration-damping film 402, so as to prevent the reflecting mirror from being broken when the reflecting mirror is driven.
