GATEWAY FOR CONTROLLING INFORMATION APPARATUS CONNECTED TO LAN VIA WAN, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gateway capable of controlling an information apparatus connected to a LAN via a WAN, and to provide a program. SOLUTION: The gateway includes: a network layer processor having an address correspondence table, where a LAN side address is made to correspond to a WAN side address, so as to convert a transmission source address and a destination address in a network layer into the WAN side address concerning a packet received from the LAN; and an application layer processor for converting an access destination address in an application layer to correspond to the WAN side address concerning the packet. In the same way, concerning the packet received from the WAN, the transmission source address and the destination address in the network layer and also the access destination address in the application layer are converted to correspond to the LAN side address.
