FAILURE DETECTING DEVICE FOR IP TELEPHONE SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a failure detecting device which is capable of detecting a failure in an IP telephone system in an early stage. SOLUTION: The failure detecting device is electrically connected to a telephone line of an IP telephone system to detect a failure in the IP telephone system, makes a call at least to a certain telephone equipped with an automatic sound transponder, establishes a speech communication session with the telephone, and performs the processing of failure detection on the basis of a plurality of automatic responding voice packets received in the established speech communication session.
