SOLUTION: This linear light emitting device is equipped with a light source, and a linear light guide into which light from the light source is introduced from its one end side, which is equipped with a projecting part formed continuously along its longitudinal axis, and in which light diffusing and reflecting parts provided across the entire width of the projecting part and colored reflecting parts for the purposed of color correction are formed at prescribed intervals on the top face of the projecting part.
