CONTENT RECORDING METHOD AND CONTENT RECORDING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content recording method and device which can copy only unoverlapped music content by checking the contents already copied at the same time, even if same contents are accumulated in different content recording devices. SOLUTION: When reading a plurality of music contents recorded on a CD 20 and copying them synchronously on a memory card 30, a table showing relationships between the music contents already recorded on the memory card 30 and TOC information at recording time is created and stored in a unique information file of the memory card 30 in advance. When a new music content read from the CD 20 is recorded on the memory card 30, the above table is read from the memory card 30, the recorded music content is checked, and the music contents other than the music contents already recorded are recorded.
