Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an O/W emulsion composition containing an antifungal agent that is less irritating to the skin owing to substantially no incorporation of surfactants and is assumed to retain manifestation of medicinal effects of the antifungal agent owing to high adhesive retention of the antifungal agent such as miconazol nitrate or the like. SOLUTION: The O/W emulsion composition comprises (a) an antifungal agent (provided that amorolfine and salts thereof are excluded), (b) a partially saponified polyvinyl alcohol having a saponification degree of 70-96 mol%, (c) a carboxyvinyl polymer and (d) 1-40 mass%, based on the whole amount of the composition, of an oil component (provided that at least 60 mass% of the oil component is a liquid oil), (e) while contains substantially no surfactants, and (f) has a pH of 3.5-8.5.
