Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a rapid increase in energization current to a motor even if a rotation load of the motor is rapidly varied from a small state to a large state momentarily when the slack of a webbing is taken up in a seat belt control device for restraining an occupant by predetermined tension by taking-up the webbing by driving the motor when a collision of a vehicle is forecasted. SOLUTION: The seat belt control device has the motor 46 for rolling up the webbing of the seat belt device for constraining the occupant sitting on the seat; and a pretensioner control means for restraining the occupant by predetermined tension by driving the motor 46 when the collision of the vehicle is forecasted. A duty value control means 42 controls a duty value of a motor drive signal so that the energization current to the motor 46 is converged to a target current during the driving of the motor 46, and regulate the current so that the duty value does not exceed a predetermined upper-limit value when the energization current to the motor 46 is smaller than the target current.
