When the free capacity is judged to be not larger than the predetermined value by the free capacity judging means 420, the storage method selecting means 440 urges selection of the storage method, the storage method changing means 430 changes the storage method of the image data on the basis of the storage method selected by the storage method selecting means 440, and the output means 500 outputs the image data stored by the changed storage method.
