Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a setup time and to stabilize a movement during high-speed rotary driving. SOLUTION: According to this device 1, when an optical disk 5 is rotary-driven by a rotary-driving means 20 based on a first driving signal adjusted by a first gain defined beforehand by a first driving control means 32a, the setup of the optical disk 5 is carried out by a setup means 32c. After the completion of the setup, when control of the rotary driving means 20 is switched from the first driving control means 32a to a second driving control means 32b, the second gain of the rotary driving means 20 rotary-driven at a second reading speed is specified by a second gain specifying means 32d. The rotary-driving means 20 rotary-drives the rotary driving means 20 at a first reading speed based on a first driving signal adjusted by the first gain from the first driving control means 32a, and rotary-drives the rotary driving means 20 at a second reading speed based on a second driving signal adjusted by the second gain from the second driving control means 32d.
