Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system that combines a radial marking menu portion (62) with a linear menu portion (64) in a single menu display part (70). SOLUTION: Item selection is performed by location selection (72) using a pointing device in the linear menu portion (64). Item selection is determined by making patterns of strokes (82, 84) by the pointing device in an angular marking menu portion (74).
