Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for measuring solid component concentration, and a solid component concentration adjusting device capable of improving the measurement accuracy of concentration of liquid containing solid components. SOLUTION: The device 2 for measuring the solid component concentration makes an ultrasonic wave receiving sensor 24 receive one pulse of ultrasonic wave transmitted from an ultrasonic wave transmitter 23 toward liquid toner and after passing a predetermined time, makes the ultrasonic wave transmitter 23 transmit one pulse of ultrasonic wave again. The response time from transmission till reception of one pulse of ultrasonic wave by the ultrasonic transmission device 23 is measured, and the response time is integrated every N pulses (N>1). The solid component concentration of the liquid toner is measured by computing the solid component concentration of the liquid toner based on the integrated response time as the integrated response time for N pulses.
