PAVING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that measurement cannot be accurately performed when a position to supply a new material is not located immediately above a supporting point on a front end side, in the case of a conventional paving machine employing a load-cell measuring bar feeder. SOLUTION: In the bar feeder 4 which is provided in the road paving machine 2 for regenerating a road, two chains 44 and 44, which are laid between sprockets 42a and 42a at both the ends of a driven shaft 42 and sprockets 43a and 43a at both the ends of a driving shaft 43, respectively, are circulated in a direction indicated by an arrow, according to the rotation of the driving shaft 43, between a conveyance track for moving immediately above a sliding plate 41b of a casing 41, and a return track for passing through a hopper 3, supported by a traveling vehicle 21, through a section above the conveyance track. A bar 45 of the bar feeder 4 passes immediately above a bottom plate 31 of the hopper 3 on the return track, and drops the new material on the bottom plate 31 onto the sliding plate 41b. Additionally, the bar moves immediately above the sliding plate 41b which is positioned below the hopper 3, and conveys the new material, on the conveyance track. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
