Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for a vehicle which confirms in advance a rotation speed of an engine after shifting of a transmission and enhances drivability. SOLUTION: The display device for the vehicle provided on the vehicle mounted with the engine 1 and the transmission 40 is constituted as follows: The present rotation speed NE1 of the engine is displayed by a pointer 51 of a tachometer 50, i.e., a display part of the present rotation speed of the engine. The rotation speed NE2 of the engine after shifting of the transmission 40 calculated based on the present rotation speed NE1 of the engine, is displayed by a display part 53 of the tachometer 50, i.e., the display part of the rotation speed of the engine after shifting.
