Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for regenerating a buried attachment pipe which can well obtain water stopping properties on the periphery of an attachment pipe opening by drawing a regeneration pipe smoothly and surely to a prescribed position in the attachment pipe. SOLUTION: An enlarged diameter part 1a is preliminarily molded in the rear end part of the regeneration pipe 1 made of a thermoplastic resin, the front end side and rear end side of the regeneration pipe 1 are closed by a front end member 2 and a rear end member, respectively. Water vapor is introduced from an inserting steam hose 6 into the regeneration pipe 1. While flexibility is maintained by heating the regeneration pipe 1, the regeneration pipe 1 is inserted toward the inside of the buried attachment pipe T through a buried main pipe H. In this case, even when the regeneration pipe 1 etc. interfere with the periphery of the attachment pipe opening Ta, by towing a rear end part of a traction wire 5, the interference of the regeneration pipe 1 etc. with the periphery of the attachment pipe opening Ta, is released, or frictional resistance is reduced. In this way, the regeneration pipe 1 is surely drawn to a prescribed position in the buried attachment pipe so that the water stopping properties on the periphery of the attachment pipe opening Ta is well obtained.
