Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorization apparatus which aims to improve the processability and to increase the deodorization ability. SOLUTION: The deodorization apparatus is provided with a catalyst fin 44 forming a spiral deodorization passageway 45, partitions 46, 47 forming a meandering passageway 49 to the deodorization passageway 45, a deodorization vessel 56 to store the catalyst fin 44 and sealing members 61A, 61B which are brought into contact with each of both spiral type marginal parts of the catalyst fin 44 under pressure wherein the partitions 46, 47 are molded by bending the starting edge of the catalyst fin 44 to the outside and by bending the terminal edge to the inside. Thus, the exhaust gas flows with turbulence on the whole of the surface of the catalyst fin 44 due to the action by the partitions 46, 47 and the odor component is effectively decomposed to increase the deodorization ability. The low-cost manufacturing is possible because the partitions 46, 47 are made by simply bending the starting edge and the terminal edge of the catalyst fin 44. Further, the airtightness of the deodorization passageway 45 is assured by the simple constitution that the sealing member 61A, 61B are brought into contact with both spiral type marginal parts of the catalyst fin 44 under pressure to improve the processability.
