FACSIMILE APPARATUS AND FACSIMILE RECEIVING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile apparatus and a facsimile receiving method which store received image data in the apparatus without printing and outputting it into a catch tray, when it receives the image data transmitted from a caller registered in advance in a specific time period such as nighttime hours. SOLUTION: An effective time period when a time limit mode is made valid and specific callers are registered in a storage 204. When data transmitter and receiver 201 receives image data, a control unit 206 judges whether or not the caller who has transmitted the image data is the one stored in the storage 204, and it also judges whether or not the current time is within the effective time period stored in the storage 204. When the caller is the one stored in the storage 204 and the current time is within the effective time period stored in the storage 204, the received image data are stored in the storage 204.
