VIDEO CONTENT DISTRIBUTING SERVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to control video images displayed on a plurality of set top boxes with an operation of a single set top box. SOLUTION: A video content distributing server is used to distribute a video content to a plurality of clients via a network. This server is provided with a means for detecting a client having made a distribution request upon receiving the distribution request from any one of the clients, and a content searching/extracting means for searching and extracting a video content corresponding to the details of the distribution request. When it is detected that a leader terminal of the clients has made the distribution request, a distribution means for distributing the extracted video content to the leader terminal and a subordinate terminal subordinate thereto in parallel is used to distribute the requested video content.
