SOLUTION: The battery liquid leakage sensor 20 (acid liquid leakage sensor) includes a first conductor 22, a second conductor 23, and a coating layer 24 coating the first conductor 22 and the second conductor 23 and consisting of an electrically insulating material, making them electrically insulated from each other; and the electrically insulating material contains an extender, made of metal carbonate which reacts with the acid liquid to have its electrical insulation property reduced.
