AMPLIFIER HAVING DISCHARGE DETERMINING FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amplifier having a discharge determining function, capable of simplifying the structure of a detector without requiring a large-sized detector such as the conventional one. SOLUTION: This amplifier to supply high frequency power to a load is equipped with a DC power supply part 11, a switch part 12, a current detecting part 13 to detect a current Iinv, a frequency control part 19 to control a sine-wave signal generating part so that a phase difference between the output voltage Vinv of the switch part 12 and the current Iinv becomes a predetermined phase difference, and a discharge determining part 20 to determine whether a load discharges or not by comparing the output frequency of the switch part 12 with a predetermined frequency.
