IMAGE GENERATION DEVICE AND IMAGE GENERATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for easily generating an image in which a specific three-dimensional object is highlighted. SOLUTION: The image generation device for generating an image of a plurality of three-dimensional objects comprises a first drawing means for generating image data from a three-dimensional object to be highlighted and storing it in a first frame buffer; a second drawing means for generating image data from a three-dimensional object not to be highlighted and storing it in a second frame buffer, and an image generation means for generating a display image with the specific three-dimensional object highlighted without being hidden by the other three-dimensional object by translucently superimposing the image data stored in the second frame buffer on the image data stored in the first frame buffer.
