Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily determine the lifetime of a recorder. SOLUTION: When processing of a write-in system to a memory 12 is performed, a controller 11 of a recording medium 1 acquires block attribute information from each erasure block of a user area of the memory 12. The controller 11 calculates an ECR (erase cycle rate) being an arithmetic mean of a ratio of the number of data erasure times up to the present in the maximum number of erasure times in each erasure block of a user area, and a URR (user redundancy rate) being a ratio in which a spare block of the user area is used on the basis of the block attribute information, and makes the memory 12 record the ECR and the URR in its lifetime information area. The invention is applicable to an IC recording medium. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
