LONG MAGNET MOLDED BODY AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR, AND MAGNET ROLLER, DEVELOPER CARRIER, DEVELOPING DEVICE, PROCESS CARTRIDGE, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, at a low cost, a long magnet molded body that has uniform magnetic characteristics in its lengthwise direction. SOLUTION: In the long magnet molded body 114 formed from magnet powder 1 and thermoplastic resin fine particles 2, the axis of easy magnetization of the magnetic powder 1 in the middle 114b of the long magnet molded body 114, except both lengthwise ends 114a, 114a is oriented in a state of orthogonal to the lengthwise direction of the long magnet molded body 114 or almost orthogonal to it in comparison with the axis of easy magnetization of each of the ends 114a, 114a. The axis of easy magnetization of the magnet powder 1 of each end 114a of the long magnet molded body 114 is oriented in the inclined direction in the lengthwise and/or widthwise direction of the long magnet molded body 114 (i.e., a direction that is not orthogonal to the lengthwise direction of the long magnet molded body).
