OIL SUPPLY STRUCTURE OF FLAT KNITTING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil supply structure for carrying out an effective lubrication in a knitting cam part of carriage. SOLUTION: A flexible oil supply tube 6 is connected to a carriage 3 so as to supply an oil to a knitting cam part 5 and a lubricating oil is intermittently sent from an oil supply pump 7 arranged at a needlebed 2 side. Since the oil supply of a lubricating oil is performed in the vicinity of the top part of a chevron-shaped knitting route 12 through a fixing screw 16 and the route 17 of an upper can block 10b, a lubricating oil flows on both sides of the knitting route 12 and a sufficient oil supply is carried out even when the butt 21 of a knitting needle 20 is not passed. When the butt 21 of the knitting needle 20 is passed in the vicinity of the top of the knitting route 12, a lubricating oil is adhered to the butt 21 and then a sufficient oil supply is performed to a stitch cam 14 for acting on the butt 21 and dropping the knitting needle 20.
