Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device of an elevator, having a pull-up mechanism capable of surely operating an emergency stop device. SOLUTION: The pull-up mechanism is formed of a pull-up rod operating in association with a pull-up switch mechanism, a brake member connected to the pull-up rod, and a pull-up member connected to an emergency stop pull-up rod. The brake member is intruded into the gap formed by a guide rail and the pull-up member by the operation of the pull-up rod, and a frictional force is produced between the guide rail and the brake member. The brake member is further intruded into the gap and a stronger frictional force is produced to stop the pull-up member. Since the pull-up member is stopped, the emergency stop pull-up rod connected to the emergency stop device moving together with a car is moved relative to the emergency stop device and the emergency stop device can be operated.
