Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that stretch of a weather strip is inhibited and a bending property is deteriorated by melting and adhering a core material to a weather strip at the time of extrusion or vulcanization in a polypropylene core material embedded in an approximate U-sectioned trim part of a weather strip made of EPDM rubber, and that indentations and projections due to slits and holes of the core material are formed on the surface of the trim part to deteriorate a quality of the appearance. SOLUTION: This approximate U-sectioned thermoplastic resin core material is embedded in a trim part of a weather strip for an automobile having an approximate U-sectioned trim part, comprises side walls and a bottom wall connecting both of the side walls, and the opposed side walls are formed into a comb tooth-like shape by slits. The slits are formed to a deep portion including a bent part connecting the side walls and the bottom wall from side wall ends. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
