Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolation device capable of providing a building with an enhanced base isolation function by a simply constitution. SOLUTION: The base isolation device comprises a fixed base 10 interposed between a foundation 2 and a sill 4 of a wooden house, fixed to the foundation 2 with an anchor shaft 6 and having a recessed bearing face 16 formed in the top face thereof, a movable base 24 functioning as a sill 4 bearing frame and having a protruding movable face 38 formed in the bottom face thereof and borne on the bearing face 16 and a damping spring mechanism 45 for the movable base 24 stretched between the movable base 24 and the anchor shaft 6.
