SOLUTION: This invention is related to the method for producing Fe3Al-based intermetallic compound, in which after applying a homogenizing heat-treatment to a cast block composed of 23-33 at% Al and 0.5-2 at% total of Nb and Zr and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities, the first hot-rolling is applied at 1173-1473K and the second hot-rolling is applied at 873-1073K and a recrystallizing heat-treatment is applied at 1073-1373K.
